Day 13...

The Zombie's are relentless.  I've been trapped in this stuffy school bus for about 3 days now with little water and no food.  I can hear them outside... eating.  If this message makes it out, you should know that I heard a faint message over the CB radio today saying that the only safe zone left is Martyrs in Chicago, IL.  The message was broadcasted live, and they said that they have food, drinks, and a resistance that has been trained to destroy the infection.  (NATO), The National Army of The Outbreaks urges us to make our way to Martyrs or we may face extinction.  The army will go into battle late on March 11th against the undead, and in order to give this army the courage and the will to fight, entertainment will be supplied to those brave soldiers, so that if these are humanities final days, at least we went out with a bang, at least we knew we were fighting for something worth saving.  March 11th, 2010 will be a day of survival.  The living versus the dead.  Will you help support NATO?

Hope to see everybody there.  The 2/26 show at Wool Street will be a 3 hour set.  We're going to play the entire (LP) and the entire Places (EP) as well as some other tunes.  The Martyrs show will be quite the party.  Martyrs was a great place for us to play last time.  Great people, great drinks, great music = An awesome time.

In today's news The Outbreaks have finally been shipped the new album.  The "Great Regression (Specila Editions)" will still be available, but are almost sold out.  The new disc is ten dollars or $10 U.S. and will be available on itunes shortly.  Meanwhile you can listen to the whole thing right here at The Outbreaks head quarters.  This just in.. This Monday, The Outbreaks will be performing over at the Elbo Room in Chicago located at the intersection of the Ulna and the Humerus, or by Lincoln and Racine. Check out the shows section for more details on this story.

We would like to extend a thank you towards everyone who joined us Saturday night at Martyrs.  We had a great time, and I hope everyone enjoyed the set.  We have sold about half of our "Great Regression Special Edition" albums already, so if you want to get your hands on a copy you can do so tonight.  We are playing at Schubas in Chicago at the corner of Belmont and Southport with Emblems and Young Jesus.  The show is all ages and starts at 7pm.  For more details check out the "Shows" section of our website.  Once again thank you and have a great week.
